Lois Pradka, MSN, RN has held a variety of roles within Duke Hospital and Duke University Health System since 1975 and currently serves as Senior Director of Duke Clinical Engagement. She was formerly Director of the Duke Quality Network and the Duke Heart Network. Lois has a long history of Advanced Practice Nursing roles, including Orthopedic Clinical Nurse Specialist and Cardiovascular Clinical Nurse Specialist. She has served on numerous national committees and boards and is a founding member of the Preventive Cardiovascular Nursing Association.
Lois has extensive experience in program development and provides expertise in the areas of quality oversight, metrics development and team facilitation. As Director of the Duke Heart Network, she led efforts to expand its reach throughout the Southeast United States.
Lois is a graduate of St. Mary’s School of Nursing in Lewiston, Maine. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at UNC-Chapel Hill and her Master of Science in Nursing at the Duke School of Nursing.
