Candi Van Vleet is an Associate Clinical Director of the Duke Heart Network. She provides cardiovascular emergency care leadership to numerous hospitals and EMS agencies.
Dr. Van Vleet’s professional career includes experience as a cardiothoracic and trauma intensive care nurse, emergency department nurse manager, flight nurse, trauma outreach, and paramedic field training officer. As a Six Sigma Black Belt, she is regularly integrating her clinical expertise with quality improvement initiatives to improve patient care.
